The gone weekend was quite special for Aaliyah Kashyap as she announced her engagement to fiancé Shane Gregoire. The couple had been together for a long time before they decided to take this next step. While the netizens were already swooning over the beautiful proposal pictures of Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire, the couple has now dropped a dreamy video of the whole incident.

Taking to YouTube, Aaliyah shared a video with Shane in which she revealed that her fiancé planned the proposal in secret. He even ordered her dream ring for it. And to make it more special, he even recorded the whole proposal on a beautiful video.

Sharing his mindset behind the proposal, Shane said, “More than anything, I want it to be intimate. Just me and Aaliyah. I don’t want to do anything big and grand. That’s not my style, and I don’t think it’s Aaliyah’s either. Just want to keep it super personal, and have to figure out a way to get that filmed, because I think it’s too special of a moment to not have filmed, that we can show our children.”

Shane attached a camera to their scooter and as soon as they reached the middle of the road, he stopped. Getting down to observe the beauty of the surroundings, Shane surprised Aaliyah from behind by getting down on one knee. Aaliyah is seen getting super emotional and teary as Shane proposes her. The two share a passionate kiss as she said yes. A few passers by also saw the proposal and smiled at the beautiful moment.

On Saturday, Aaliyah took to Instagram to announce her engagement. She had written, “soooooo THIS HAPPENED!!!!! to my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my FIANCÉ! you are the love of my life. thank you for showing me what real & unconditional love feels like. saying yes to you was the easiest thing i’ve ever done & i can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. I love you forever & always Fiancé (still can’t believe i get to call you that AAHHHH) (sic).”

A proud and emotional Anurag Kashyap has also written a sweet message for his ‘grown up’ daughter. Sharing the engagement post on his stories, an overwhelmed Anurag wrote, “She is all grown up. So much so that she is now engaged. (sic).” Aaliyah and Shane sure do represent true love. Here’s wishing them a lifetime of happiness together.
