Superstar Aamir Khan has finally put an end to all the speculations that will he be attending the swearing-in ceremony of Imran Khan as the Prime Miniter of Pakistan. The actor has clarified that he has not been invited to the oath-taking ceremony. The clarification comes a day after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry told Pakistani media that former cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Navjot Singh Sidhu have been invited to the event, along with Aamir.
In an exclusive interview to CNN-News18, the star said,” No, I am not going to Pakistan and I haven’t got an invitation for Imran Khan’s swearing-in ceremony.”

The actor also revealed that he is at present busy with his charity event. “I am busy as I have a very big event for Paani Foundation, which I am preparing for. It’s a massive event with 10,000 villagers and is taking place on August 12,” the actor added.
Navjot Singh Sidhu, former cricketer and now a Cabinet Minister for Punjab Government confirmed getting an invite from Imran Khan and also stated that he has accepted the invitation. Kapil Dev has also denied receiving the invitation, but said that in case he gets one, he would surely go to Pakistan.
On the work front, Aamir will be next seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan‘. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh and is slated to release on November 7, 2018.
