Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani to collaborate for a biopic after 3 Idiots and PK? Here’s what we know

If reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are set to collaborate again. The actor-director duo has worked together in films like 3 Idiots and PK. Now, as per latest reports, Aamir and Rajkumar will reunite for a biopic. Aamir is reportedly beyond excited for the project. They will begin working on the project after Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan is released.

Aamir and Rajkumar to collaborate

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “It’s a known fact that Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are extremely fond of each other, have been wanting to collaborate again for a while. They have even discussed many concepts in the past, and it seems they have finally found a subject that both of them like equally. It’s a biopic, and when Aamir head the idea he instantly got excited.”

The source further added, “Raju sir is presently busy with Dunki and will start working on the final script and other pre-production formalities after the release of his film with Shah Rukh Khan. Even though the discussion at present is at a nascent stage, it seems promising.”

If the report turns out to be true, it will be exciting to see Aamir in Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic.

Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chadha opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film tanked at the box office, but when it was released on Netflix, it received a good response. Post Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir announced that he is taking an acting break to spend time with his family.

On the other hand, Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki is one of the most anticipated films of the year. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. The film is slated to release in December this year. Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s first film together and fans are beyond excited for it.
