Aamir Khan asks Kapil Sharma ‘why was I never invited’ to The Kapil Sharma Show, here’s what happened next

The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most loved talk shows. Over the years, several celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, and Salman Khan among others have made appearances on the show. However, Aamir Khan has never graced the show. Recently, Aamir and Kapil Sharma attended the trailer launch of the Punjabi film, Carry On Jatta 3. At the event, Aamir asked Kapil the reason behind not inviting him to his show.

Here’s what Aamir Khan said about Kapil Sharma…

Referring to his acting break, Aamir said, “I have been spending more time with my family these days. I like to watch something funny every night before bed. I have been watching The Kapil Sharma Show for a few months now and I have become a fan. I rang him a few weeks ago to appreciate his comic work.” The Laal Singh Chaddh actor then asked Kapil, “I am asking this before he can say anything. I am a step ahead of Kapil. But why was I never invited to be the guest at the show?”

The comedian then revealed that he invited Aamir thrice. Kapil added, “It would be our good fortune to have you on our show. I have always met him in the crowd and have always requested him to come to our show. But he used to say that he is going somewhere and will meet once he is back. Cut to, we meet straight after three years.”

Adding to that, Aamir said, “Main 100% aaunga lekin main ek cheez bolta hoon. Aap mujhe meri film release ke time bulate hai. Mujhe release ke liye nahin aana hai. Mujhe aise hi entertainment ke liye bulao (I will 100% come but I’ll tell you something. You call me during the time of my film’s release. I don’t want to come at that time. So, you call me for entertainment purpose).”

Well, we hope to see Aamir on The Kapil Sharma Show soon.

On the other hand, it looks like that post Carry On Jatta 3’s trailer launch, Aamir invited Kapil and his wife Ginni to his house. The comedian shared photos on Instagram and thanked Aamir for ‘beautiful hospitality’.

For the uninitiated, Aamir is currently on a break from his acting career. At the event, Aamir revealed that he will sign his next film when he’s ‘emotionally ready’.
