Aamir Khan has a proud dad moment as he attends an event with ex-wife Reena to see daughter Ira Khan receive an award- WATCH

Aamir Khan is a proud and doting father to his kids and it came on display yet again as his daughter Ira Khan was honoured at an event recently. Ira was awarded for her work in the mental health field. And to witness her achievement, Aamir Khan was accompanied by ex-wife Reena Dutta and Ira’s fiance Nupur Shikhare.

On Saturday, Aamir stepped out with Reena, Ira and Nupur for the event in the city. The actor sported a clean-shaven look in a red kurta. A video that has surfaced from the event, sees the actor gets emotional seeing his daughter win. Aamir gets teary-eyed seeing Ira on stage and when she comes back to her seat, he embraces her with pride. Even Nupur is seen cheering his soon-to-be wife with utmost enthusiasm. It just goes on to show how close knit the whole family of Aamir Khan is.

Ira is set to get married to Nupur on January 3, 2024. Aamir had himself revealed the date to the media and he insisted that it will be an overhwelming moment for him. He had said, “Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, uss din main bahut rone waala hoon yeh toh tay hai. Discussions have already begun in the family that ‘Aamir ko sambhaalna uss din (take care of Aamir that day), because I am very emotional. I can’t control my smile nor my tears.“

Aamir had also spoken about his future son-in-law, praising him for standing with Ira during tough times. He had said, “When Ira was battling depression, he was with her. He is really someone who has stood by her and emotionally supported her. I am happy that they are so happy together. They are very well connected, they really look after each other and care for each other.“
