Aamir Khan is back in town to launch the trailer of ‘Secret Superstar’

Actor Aamir Khan who had been shooting for the movie ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ is back in the city to launch the trailer of his upcoming movie ‘Secret Superstar’. The actor was busy shooting for the movie ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ in Malta, which was followed by a family getaway to Greece. He is now back in town to promote the movie. Yesterday, the first poster was unveiled and it was announced that the trailer would be unveiled on August 2, 2017. The teaser of the movie was already released last year in December, and soon the buzz faded away.

But now, the makers have started the promotions again by unveiling the first poster yesterday. ‘Secret Superstar’ will show Aamir as ‘daal mein tadka’, as he best describes himself. He is known to invest his time and energy into films from the beginning to the end and this movie is going to be no different. So just in the nick of time, Aamir is back in town to kickstart promotions and present the movie to the masses. The trailer of ‘Secret Superstar’ will be launched by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Zaira Wasim, Sujay Kutty and director Advait Chauhan on August 2, 2017. The movie’s aspirational content had generated lots of anticipation for its release.

The film revolves around a 14-year-old girl named Insia (Zaira Wasim) who desires of becoming a singer, but her conservative father is strongly against it as for him the idea of a girl uncovering herself and playing music is hateful. So she decides to create YouTube channel and releases a video singing a song, but she doesn’t reveal her name in the video and even hides her face with a burkha as she doesn’t want anyone to know her real identity.

She names the channel as ‘Secret Superstar’ and soon she gets acknowledged for her talent. Aamir Khan who plays the role of a music director is impressed by her musical talent, but will she be able to pursue her passion further? We cannot wait for the trailer which will be unveiled tomorrow.

Aamir Khan Productions’ ‘Secret Superstar’ is written-directed by Advait Chandan and is slated to release on October 18, 2017.
