Faisal Khan claims that his family kept him under house arrest and forcefully gave him medicines

Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan has made some shocking allegations against his family. Faisal recently opened up about being under house arrest and how his family forcefully gave him medicines for over a year that he didn’t need. He also cleared the air about the rumours related to his mental health.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Faisal said that for a year’s time, his family had kept him under house arrest and gave him medicines for being mentally unfit when he was just fine. Faisal also said that he hoped maybe this phase will pass. But, later his family demanded him to give up his signatory rights and that’s when he decided to take a stand and so he moved out and fought a court case against his family which he won.

He even shared that he was examined by the JJ Hospital where he got a clean chit for his health and that helped him finally win the case. Reportedly, in 2007 Aamir had fought for his brother Faisal’s custody however it went to his father.

In his interview, Faisal also spoke about nepotism in Bollywood. “At the end of the day, you’ll get a break in the industry due to nepotism and favouritism. If your father is a big director then he can make a few calls and people to cast you, but you will have to prove your worth in the end. There’s no theory or formula for success. There are going to be new people coming in both from the insiders and outsiders. In fact, I think that the rate of insiders flopping is higher than that of the outsiders because you get the chance but you’re not successful,” he said.
