Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan often hit the headlines for her messages on mental health. The youngster is a vocal supporter of the poignant issue. But on Thursday, Ira Khan got in the news for her wedding rumours with fiancé Nupur Shikhare. And she has finally reacted to it, clearing the air on the matter.

Ira Khan reacts to October wedding rumours

A newspaper article surfaced recently which stated that Ira and Nupur are going to tie the knot on October 3, 2023. Soon, the article went viral and even reached Ira. The youngster took to her Instagram stories to clarify these reports. With a clipping of the article, she wrote, “No no…Not getting married on 3rd October! Later, you’ll know when because I’ll be so excited that it will be hard to not notice.” She also tagged Nupur in the story. However, the story has been deleted the story.

Ira is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta. She has been in a relationship with Nupur for a long time. Last year in November, she got a dreamy proposal from Nupur and said yes to it. The couple then celebrated the news with a big party with friends from the industry.

While Ira has denied the October 3 wedding, a recent report stated that it is happening in January 2024. An ETimes report said, “The couple has planned an elaborate wedding ceremony in Udaipur. It’s a three-day affair, and the festivities will include their friends and extended family members. This one, too, will be an intimate affair minus the presence of any people from the film industry.” Aamir and Reena made a rare appearance together recently outside a jewellery shop. The incident also added fuel to the wedding rumours.
