Coronavirus has been spreading like wildfire all over the world. The frontline workers like doctors, medical staff and professionals have been putting their life on the line to save those affected with Covid-19. On March 22, the whole nation had shown their gratitude to these service providers by clapping for them. Now, superstar Aamir Khan has expressed his appreciation for these professionals.

Aamir Khan took to his Twitter handle to thank all the professionals who have been working in this time of crisis. The actor wrote, “Really appreciate the work that the doctors, nurses, hospital staff members, the Maharashtra Police, and the Maharashtra administration, the BMC and all the staff in the essential services, all across Mumbai ad Maharashtra are doing in this time of crisis. For that matter, all across the country. Thank you (sic).”

Earlier Aamir had also pledged his support to the nation’s fight against Coronavirus. The actor had made donations to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund. Apart from that, he also lent his support the daily wage workers of his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.

Aamir was filming for his next ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ when the 21-day lockdown was imposed and the entertainment industry decided to put a halt on all activities. Right now, the actor is in quarantine with his family.
