After registering their wedding on 3^rd January, Aamir Khan’s darling daughter Ira Khan got married to Nupur Shikhare in a traditional ceremony in Udaipur. The wedding festivities was 3-days long affair which took place from 8^th to 10^th January. While several pics and videos are doing rounds, a clip of Aamir Khan grooving to his popular song Aati Kya Khandala grabbed our attention.

About Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare Udaipur’s wedding

Ira and Nupur’s 3-days traditional wedding festivities took place at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur. The family including Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Azad Rao, and Junaid Khan arrived on 7th January. It began with a welcome dinner followed by a Mehendi ceremony and a pajama party on the 8th of January. The sangeet ceremony was held on the 9th ahead of which a football tournament was organised. In a viral video from Sangeet ceremony, Ira’s cousin Imran Khan is also seen grooving to his popular song Pappu Can’t Dance Saala. On 10^th January, the much-in-love couple shared wedding vows yet again in a Christian-styled wedding and sealed the deal with a kiss.

There will also be a grand reception in Mumbai on 13th January which will be attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar and Juhi Chawla, among many others.

Ira is Aamir and his first wife Reena Dutta’s daughter. She is a mental health advocate by profession. While Nupur is a celebrity fitness trainer who often shares related posts on social media. The couple met each other during the pandemic and Nupur officially proposed Ira in September 2022 in Italy. The got engaged in November 2022.
