Zaira Wasim, a beautiful girl from Kashmir, dreamt to make it big in Bollywood and here she is, garnering praises from none other than the most perfect man in the industry, Aamir Khan. Zaira made her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dangal’ and then she managed to bag yet another film with him in the form of ‘Secret Superstar’. The story of this film is about a Muslim girl who aspires to be a musician, but with culture being a barrier, she has to struggle a lot to achieve her goals. A messiah of sorts, Aamir, a successful musician comes to her rescue.
As stated, Zaira is an aspiring musician in this film, so we do see her playing guitar in the trailer of ‘Secret Superstar’. Let us tell you that Zaira is not just posing with the guitar, but supposedly she has specially learnt to play guitar for this role. This is something that has been revealed by Aamir Khan.
While sharing how impressed he is with Zaira’s dedication, he stated, “Zaira does not have any connection with music, like she did not have any connection with wrestling while doing ‘Dangal’, but she trained for wrestling for ‘Dangal’ and for ‘Secret Superstar’, she has learned guitar, which is a big work.”
Further adding, “As an actor, we often try that whenever we play a musical instrument we play it accurately. But I think she (Zaira) has gone a step further, she has spent a lot of time with Meghna Mishra as a singer because she wanted to understand how to sing, they used to rehearse together. She actually learned to play guitar for all the songs where all she had to play it.”
Such kind words coming from Mr Perfectionist are surely a big thing. Good going, Zaira! (Also Read: ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim writes an apology and then deletes it for meeting Mehbooba Mufti)
