Aamir Khan in talks with Shubh Mangal Saavdhan director RS Prasanna for a sports film?

Recently, Aamir Khan suddenly decided to halt the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha and had flown off to Jaipur to shoot a dance number for his good friend Amin Hajee’s directorial debut. Now, as per a report in Pinkvilla, Aamir is in talks with Shubh Mangal Saavdhan director RS Prasanna for his next film.

As per reports, after he completes the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha, he will start working on its pre-production work. He is in talks with RS Prasanna for a sports film that has elements of humour and emotions. It isn’t a quintessential sports drama but set against the backdrop of it. Aamir and RS Prasanna had meetings on the project and the former showed interest in it. The casting will begin, once Aamir officially signs the contract.

Talking about Amin Hajee’s film, it is a psychological thriller and Aamir is reportedly doing a dance item number and he shall be seen opposite Elli AvrRam. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Aamir will also have a small cameo apart from the dance number and everything would be shot in the 5-day schedule in Jaipur. The song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Bosco-Caesar will be choreographing the dance number. Amin Hajee’s directorial stars Amyra Dastur and Kunal Kapoor.

Aamir’s next project after Laal Singh Chaddha might be Mogul or RS Prasanna film. Nothing is confirmed yet. Laal Singh Chaddha is inspired by Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. It is helmed by Advait Chandan. It also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and she had already wrapped up her part. It was scheduled to release last year in Christmas, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it got delayed. Now, it is scheduled to release in Christmas 2021.
