Aamir Khan is coming up with something on 26th January, and we’re excited!

Taking to Twitter, Aamir Khan shared a small video where he is talking about his upcoming film ‘Rubaru Roshni’ which will premiere on 26th January, 2011. It’ll be telecast at 11 am on Star Plus. The film has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions.

It seems to be a movie with a social message and we all know that Aamir is great at delivering such films. Be it films like ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘3 idiots’ or ‘Rang De Basanti’, most of his films try to bring about a change in society. While ‘Taare Zameen Par’ shed light on dyslexia, ‘3 idiots’ inspired us to chase our dreams. Considering his track record, we have high expectations from the film.

Aamir’s last outing ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was a total dud at the box office. Despite registering a record opening, the film failed to gather any momentum and was universally trolled. Aamir even apologized for disappointing his fans. “I take the full responsibility of Thugs not working with the audience. You can be sure that we tried our level best but somewhere we went wrong. There are a few people who liked the film. I would like to thank them. We realise that most of the people did not like the film. I want to apologise to fans that I couldn’t entertain them the way they wanted, though we did try our best,” he said at a press conference.
