Aamir Khan joins Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, hoists tricolour at his house

Superstar Aamir Khan has joined PM Narendra Modi’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The campaign is under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It encourages people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

A day after the release of his film Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan was spotted in the balcony of his residence where the tricolour was displayed by the Laal Singh Chaddha actor. He was soon joined by his daughter Ira Khan.

In the pictures Aamir Khan is seen with his daughter Ira Khan. Both are seen holding an intense converastion. Aamir later seemed busy with his cellphone, while Ira was seen besides him with a cup in her hand.

For the unversed, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was launched on July 22, 2022, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PM wants mass participation of citizens in this event. The Central government has urged people to hoist or display the tricolour in their homes from August 13 to 15.

Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of Tom Hanks Forrest Gump. The movie is all about a slow-witted yet kind-hearted man Laal (played by Aamir) narrating the important events of his life coinciding with iconic events from Indian history.

The movie also features Kareena Kapoor Khan has the romantic lead opposite the PK star. Directed by Advait Chandan the film marks Aamir Khan’s return to the big screen after a long hiatus. It also features Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles.
