Aamir Khan opens up about his equation with Kiran Rao post divorce: She shouts at me sometimes

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have teamed up for social-drama Laapataa Ladies. Despite their separation in 2021, the couple never cease to show their unwavering support for each other. Recently, while promoting the film, Aamir was asked about working with Kiran after the divorce and their equation. The ex-couple agreed that they enjoy working together.

While interacting with a news portal, the ex-couple was asked about getting back together professionally. To this, Aamir said, “Yeh koi doctor ne kaha hai ke divorce ho jata hai toh aap foran dushman ho jaate hai?” (Has a doctor said that when a divorce happens, you immediately become enemies)”. He continued, “I feel that I got lucky because Kiran came into my life. Our journey was very fulfilling and we made a lot of things together–personally and professionally. We are connected on a human and emotional level, and we will always be. We are like a family..”

Aamir was all praise for Kiran and said, “I think Kiran is a wonderful mind and she is intelligent. And she even shouts at me sometimes, I enjoy that too. We are very excited about the work we do together.” Kiran also agreed with Aamir and added, “We enjoy working with each other.”

About Aamir and Kiran

Aamir and Kiran met on the sets of Lagaan and had their wedding in 2005. The couple then entered in business together and produced several films including Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, Dangal and Laal Singh Chaddha. In 2021, the ex-couple announced their divorce.

However, the couple is going strong and continues to support each other despite separation. They were even seen posing together at Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding.
