Aamir Khan opposite Deepika Padukone in Shuddhi?

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s magnum opus ‘Shuddhi’ has been stuck since a long time now. Initially Hrithik Roshan was roped in to star in the film but the actor due to personal reasons opted out of it. Then the heroine too was changed from Kareena Kapoor and the role went to Deepika Padukone. Ranveer Singh’s name was flouted around but now it seems that Karan Johar wants  Aamir Khan to star in it.

As per sources, Karan is in discussion with Aamir Khan to star in his long-in-the-planning production ‘Shuddhi’. “Karan is still trying to lock the lead for his film and has recently shared the script of ‘Shuddhi’ with Aamir, but nothing has been finalised yet. Aamir has asked Karan to give him time to go through the script.”

Karan has already announced the release date of the film — December 25, 2014 — on a social networking site, even though he hasn’t found his leading man yet.

Well, so is  Aamir Khan to star in ‘Shuddhi’ then?
