Aamir Khan pays heartfelt tribute to KK and Sidhu Moose Wala

Popular Bollywood singer KK passed away on May 31st after performing at Nazrul Mancha auditorium, in South Kolkata. His sudden demise left family, fans and friends in a state of deep shock. Social media was soon flooded with tributes from many. Celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Emraan Hashmi, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and many others expressed their grief on Twitter. Now Aamir Khan has taken to Instagram stories to pay emotional tribute to Singer KK and also Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala who was killed on 29th May.

Earlier today, KK’s post-mortem was being conducted at SSKM Hospital. As per PTI, KK died after suffering from cardiac arrest. A senior official told the news agency, “The initial report suggested that the singer died because of myocardial infarction. There was no foul play behind his death. Clinical examination also found that the singer was having prolonged cardiac issues.”

The West Bengal government had given the singer a gun salute at Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata. It was attended by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and members of KK’s family. The mortal remains of the popular singer were brought to Mumbai via a flight and his funeral is taking place today at Versova Hindu Cemetry in Mumbai.

Many popular Bollywood celebs like Javed Akhtar, Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Bharadwaj and wife, Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghoshal, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and more were seen paying their last respect to the singer.

The musician is survived by his wife and two kids.
