Aamir Khan plans an international release for ‘Secret Superstar’

After ‘Dangal’, actress Zaira Wasim is all set to return to the big screen teaming up yet again with her mentor Aamir Khan. Their upcoming film ‘Secret Superstar’ is undoubtedly looking like a winner ever since the trailer and songs have been released. As the film’s team has already kick-started the promotions of this musical drama, today there’s yet another development. Reports suggest that Aamir Khan is planning to release the film internationally in Turkey on the same date as in India.

Vibha Chopra, the Head of Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution and Acquisition) said in her statement, “With a strong and universally appealing storyline and the presence of one of our biggest superstars, we are confident that the film will receive as much love in Turkey and other international markets, as it does in India.” [sic] (Also Read: Aamir Khan: For me, ‘Secret Superstar’ is a bigger film than ‘Dangal’)

Recently, Aamir even took to Twitter to share that he is going to Istanbul, Turkey. It clearly suggests why the actor-producer has made his way there.

Apart from Turkey, ‘Secret Superstar’ will also release in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UAE/GCC and Pakistan.

The film is set to mark the directorial debut of Advait Chandan and also stars Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, Tirth Sharma, Kabir Sheikh, Farrukh Jaffer playing pivotal roles in it.

The film is slated to release on October 19, 2017.
