Aamir Khan is one of the highest-paid actors of Bollywood. With hard work and talent, Aamir Khan has successfully made a mark for himself in the industry. However, Aamir’s journey has its ups and downs. In a recent interview, Aamir recalled his childhood days when his family was in debt and he and his siblings would be late in paying school fees. He added that the principal would announce their names in the school assembly after giving them warnings.

In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Aamir Khan revealed how during his school days, the fee structure was Rs 6 for the 6th standard, Rs 7 for the 7th standard and Rs 8 for the 8th standard and so on. Due to his family’s condition, Aamir and his siblings ‘were always late to pay their school fees’. And after one or two warnings, the school principle would announce their names in the assembly, in front of the entire school. Aamir reportedly had tears in his eyes while recalling the childhood days.

Aamir is the eldest of four siblings – Faisal Khan, Farhat Khan and Nikhat Khan. Aamir made his debut as a lead actor in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and then, there was no looking back for him. He has been a part of many super-hit films.

The actor is currently busy promoting his film Laal Singh Chaddha. Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. The film is slated to release on 11 August, 2022.
