Did we all know why Aamir Khan opted out of the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit movie Vikram Vedha? It’s confirmed that Aamir Khan had walked out of the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit movie Vikram Vedhan and he is now replaced by none other than Hrithik Roshan.
According to Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed that Aamir loved the original version of the film, and he wanted to make some changes in the script to make it a China-friendly film. He had also conveyed to Neeraj Pandey, Aamir wanted to spin it around as a quintessential Hong-Kong based Gangster drama, with sleek action, set against the backdrop of gang-wars in Hong Kong, making the story more friendly for the Chinese market, to get additional gains from the market. The storytelling template would have been a first for the Indian audience too.
Apparently, the creative team had started working on the script and several narration meetings happened with the PK actor. The report mentioned Aamir was happy with the script too. The source later mentioned that the actor opted out when the COVID-19 outbreak happened. The insider in the report said, “But when Covid-19 outbreak happened, followed by the tussle in Ladakh, the relationship between India and China went from bad to ugly and Aamir had no option but to left the film.” Aamir is quite popular in China and also have a decent fan following. His films like Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots and Dangal have done well at the Chinese box office.

Meanwhile, talking about Hrithik Roshan, the source in the report mentioned that the actor always loved the script and was inclined towards playing a negative lead. Apart from this, it is reported that Hrithik will start intensive training for the film in May. Vikram Vedha also stars Saif Ali Khan. The actor will be seen playing the role of a cop.
