Aamir Khan has THIS to say on SRK’s possible exit from ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is going through a rough patch in his career. The king of romance’s last theatrical release ‘Zero’ did below par business at the box office. In ‘Zero’, SRK had portrayed a vertically challenged character by the name of Bauua Singh.

Now, there are speculations going on regarding Shah Rukh Khan leaving ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’. This feature film is based on the life of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma. There are also unsubstantiated reports of Vicky Kaushal replacing the Badshah Khan for this project.

Incidentally, Aamir Khan was first offered this project. During a media interaction, when Aamir was asked about SRK backing out of the biopic, the ‘Dangal’ actor said, “Isn’t Shah Rukh Khan doing that film?”

He further said, “Those are only reports, let’s wait until he does not make an announcement about it.” Aamir and Shah Rukh share a very good rapport and bond amid rumours of rivalry and jealousy.

When there were reports of Shah Rukh was backing out of the biopic, writer of ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’, Anjum Rajabali termed it as fake news. Hopefully, makers of this biopic sort out all the issues and offer some clarification regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement.

Aamir Khan was last seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ and surprisingly the film failed to deliver at the box office. The magnum opus featured Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
