Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par to release on Christmas 2024; Actor reveals, ‘I started shooting last week’

Aamir Khan is one of the most talented and successful actors in Bollywood. He was last seen in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir Khan, who recently attended the screening of his production venture, Laapataa Ladies, along with Kiran Rao and the entire cast of the film at IIM Bengaluru, was asked about his next film, Sitaare Zameen Par.

For the uninitiated, Aamir will be seen in Sitaare Zameen Par. So, when asked to share an update, Aamir revealed, “I started shooting for my next film last week. We are trying to release it on Christmas this year. Let’s hope it comes by Christmas.”

Earlier, Aamir had revealed that Sitaare Zameen Par is the ‘next level of Taare Zameen Par’. The actor said, “I have started shooting for my new film, Sitaare Zameen Par from February 1. It is the next level of Taare Zameen Par, it is like part 2. It is not the same story and the characters are also not the same.”

Aamir added, “The theme is the same but the difference is, unlike Taare Zameen Par, which left you with tears, Sitaare Zameen Par will leave in laughter. Prasanna is directing it and it is an entertaining film. We are looking at the same topic but with a different perspective.”

As per reports, Genelia Deshmukh is also a part of the upcoming film.
