Aamir Khan who suffered an injury while shooting a wrestling sequence for his new film ‘Dangal’ in Ludhiana last month has returned to action.
Apparently the actor will resume shooting for his biopic in Pune for a schedule planned for two months. Sources say, “Aamir will shoot in Pune at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru stadium where he’ll shoot the sequences of Olympics and Common Wealth Games.”
After finishing this schedule, the team will be heading to Delhi in another stadium.
The film ‘Dangal’ is a Biopic based on wrestling Coach Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari in this sport.
Fatima Sana Shaikh better remembered as playing the cute daughter of Kamal Haasan in his 1997 released family comedy film ‘Chachi 420’ as a child actor will portray Geeta Phogat. Babita Kumari is played by a debutant actress Sanya Malhotra.
The film also stars Sakshi Tanwar playing the on Screen wife of Aamir Khan and is directed by Nitesh Tiwari who earlier directed ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ in 2014.
The film is slated to release next year in the month of December making it Aamir Khan’s sixth release in this decade after ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ ‘Ghajini,’ ‘3 Idiots,’ ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘PK’ to release in the same month.
