It is Aamir Khan’s birthday today and the actor celebrated the occasion with the media in Bandra, Mumbai. The Talaash actor looked his casual best as he donned a pair of dark-rimmed glasses, jeans, white t-shirt with a light pink shirt thrown over it.
While interacting with the media, the actor gave the best present his birthday return gift to fans as he confirmed his new movie. Aamir Khan might headline the Hindi remake of the 2018 Spanish film Campeones (Champions). Talking about the same, Aamir said, “I haven’t announced it yet, how do you know about it? The planning is going on, I will tell you about it very soon.”

Reportedly, the actor is in talks to headline the project, which is set to be directed by Shubh Mangal Saavdhan director RS Prasanna.
Meanwhile, Campeones reportedly follows the life of an arrogant, drunkard coach basketball coach who works with a team of mentally disabled players as part of his community service. It is said that the Hindi remake will be produced by Sony Pictures India.
On the work front, Aamir will be seen next in Laal Singh Chadha, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Naga Chaitanya. A remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump. It is now slated for cinema release on 11 August 2022. However, the film’s release date has been changed several times.
Talking about the delay, the actor stated that that the production of the film was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and it led to the film being pushed several times. He said: “I think now we will get the time to finish our film the way we had intended to now that it’s coming out on August 11. We are trying to make a good film.”
