Aamir Khan visits the Golden temple with son Junaid, Mona Singh, after Laal Singh Chaddha release

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was released in theatres on Thursday, August 11. The movie also features Mona Singh, who plays the mother of Laal, Aamir’s character in the movie. In pictures shared by Mona Singh on Instagram, Aamir Khan visited the Golden temple with the movie team. After the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, the actor travelled to Chandigarh to seek blessings.

On Instagram, Mona Singh shared a string of photos of Aamir and her, along with Junaid, from their visit to the Golden temple. The first photo shows Aamir, son Junaid, Mona posing with the temple in the background. The next picture shows Aamir and Mona seated on the floor, meditating. An other photo shared by Singh shows Aamir engaging in a conversation with a few people. The photos from the temple visit of the Laal Singh Chaddha team looked peaceful.

Sharing the photos, the Laal Singh Chaddha actress wrote, “Early morning Darshan #waheguru #goldentemple #amritsar @aamirkhanproductions @advaitchandan#junaidkhan (sic).”

Ahead of the movie release, Aamir and the team have been promoting it in full swing. The actor also hosted a special screening in Mumbai, which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities.

Meanwhile, the movie Laal Singh Chaddha features Aamir, Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. The movie was released in theatres on August 11 and clashed at the box office with Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan. The film is directed by filmmaker Advait Chandan.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. The original featured Tom Hanks in a key role.
