Aamir Khan will temporarily move to Chennai for his ailing mother- Report

It is well-known that Aamir Khan shares a close bond with his mother Zeenat Hussain. Well, if reports are to be believed, Aamir will temporarily move to Chennai for a few months to be by his mother’s side. As per a report by India Today, Aamir’s mother, Zeenat Hussain is currently undergoing medical treatment in a private facility in Chennai. Aamir wants to stay by his mother’s side.

Aamir Khan to move to Chennai

Reportedly, Aamir would be staying at a hotel close to the medical centre where his mother Zeenat Hussain is undergoing treatment. In October, Aamir’s mom Zeenat suffered a heart attack.

Post the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir had announced his acting break to spend time with family. At an event, Aamir had said, “I was supposed to do a film after Laal Singh Chaddha called Champions. It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film. But I feel that I want to take a break and be with my family, my mom, and my kids.”

Earlier this year, Aamir and his family members came together to celebrate Zeenat Hussain’s 89^th birthday. Punjabi singer Pratibha Singh had shared photos from the birthday bash along with the caption, “So this evening looked this at Aamir Khan’s place! Celebrated 89^th birthday of Aamir ji’s mother. The kind of love, warmth & blessings we received is unmatched. Thank you so much @shankar.mahadevan sir for this recommendation. Forever grateful.”

Aamir Khan’s upcoming movies

Aamir last delivered a terrific performance in Laal Singh Chaddha co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. A few days ago, Aamir announced his next film Sitaare Zameen Par. Reportedly, Genelia Deshmukh will be romancing Aamir in the film. On the other hand, Aamir will be producing ex-wife Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies and Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947.
