Aamir Khan is all set to make his big screen comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par. The film has been under production for quite some time. It is eyeing for Summer 2025 release. Now, as per latest reports, Aamir Khan has wrapped up shooting for Sitaare Zameen Par and is focusing on post-production.

While talking to Midday, as source close to project stated, “It was a day-long shoot that started at 2 pm and went on till night. Aamir wanted to make sure that the film was wrapped up on Sunday. With the shoot done, Sitaare Zameen Par has now reached the finish line. Aamir and Prasanna will now shift their focus to post-production, which will include extensive editing, visual effects, and sound design,” shares a source. The portal further mentioned that the makers are targeting a Summer 2025 release and plan to organize focus-group screenings in February.
A spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par (2007), Sitaare Zameen Par is an official adaptation of the Spanish sports comedy, Campeones (2018), and stars Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary alongside Khan. It has been heard that the superstar is now aiming for a summer 2025 release and intends to conduct focus-group screenings in February.
Aamir’s upcoming movies
On the work front, the actor at Red Sea confirmed his next projects. He confirmed producing Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol. He will also helm Ek Din, featuring his son Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. The actor also mentioned a third production involving a film he is acting in but kept details under wraps. A fourth project is an Austin Powers-inspired film being written and directed by Vir Das, who will also star in it.
