To the pleasure of Aamir Khan fans, his latest release ‘Dangal’ has been made tax free in Haryana now. Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana, announced the decision, which was taken keeping in mind that the film complies with the State Government’s ‘Beti Bacchao, Beti Padhao’ movement and also promotes wrestling, a sport Haryana is famous for.
Khattar as well said that the Government was soon to announce important policies to take Haryanvi cinema forward.

‘Dangal’ revolves around Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, residents of Balali village, Haryana. Phogat is a national champion and a senior Olympics coach. His elder daughter Geeta won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2010 and was the first female Indian wrestler to qualify for Olympics. Her younger daughter Babita bagged the gold medal in Commonwealth Games 2014.
Today, the Phogat family stands as an inspiration not only to the aspiring sportsmen of Haryana but across the country. ‘Dangal’ is going great guns at the box office and has already entered the 100-crore club.
