Aamir Khan’s loss is Hrithik Roshan’s gain

Superstar Aamir Khan had declined the offer of Excel Entertainment’s time-travel drama, due to disagreement on remuneration and commercial clauses. The production house have gone ahead and signed Hrithik Roshan now. Hrithik Roshan will be paired with Deepika Padukone and the film will be directed by debutante Nitya Mehra.

According to sources, “The film is a sci-fi drama with a time-travel spin. It has a romantic angle which spans across timelines. When the script went to Hrithik, he was impressed and promptly agreed to come on board. It’s a film which will be made on a lavish scale and is expected to go on floors in February 2015 by which time she should be done with Karan Johar’s Shuddhi.”

Deepika had expressed her desire to work with Aamir, Salman and Hrithik. Her wish to work with the Khan’s has not taken off, but now she will be having at least one wish fulfilled of working with Duggu.
