Aamir Khan’s parents were against the idea of him joining Bollywood

Well, this is certainly a surprising fact, given the actor’s father, Tahir Hussain himself belonged to the industry as a director-producer. However, if it would have been his way, along with Aamir’s mother’s way, then the industry would have lost a perfectionist in the name of Aamir Khan. We are certainly glad that did not happen.

Apparently, Aamir’s parents did not want him to be a part of Bollywood, despite belonging to a Bollywood family. Aamir is the son of director Tahir Hussain and the nephew of film-maker Nasir Husain, however, Aamir’s family was against the idea of him joining Bollywood.

“One minute you are up there, one minute you are not. They wanted me to go into a profession that is more stable like that of an engineer, doctor or charted accountant.” the actor himself revealed recently.

The actor however was determined and did not listen to his parents and joined the industry eventually.
