Aamir Khan’s reaction to Anupam Kher winning Padma Bhushan is INDEED Surprising

The list of national award winners recently made it to the headlines. A number of Bollywood celebrities are also a part of this list. Amongst many, veteran actor Anupam Kher is the one to receive prestigious Padma Bhushan award for his contribution to the world of Cinema. Of course, it’s a proud moment for him and all his loved ones are making it all the more special by pouring congratulations from all corners. Be it his family members, colleagues, juniors or his fans, everyone wished him for his achievement. But, one person we did not expect to greet him was Aamir Khan

We are very well aware that when Aamir Khan‘s controversy on Intolerance broke out, Anupam Kher was amongst the first ones to bash Mr Perfectionist for his comments. In the series of tweets, Anupam Kher had slammed Aamir for his supposedly insensitive comments over the issue of growing intolerance in India. One of his tweet read, “Dear @aamir_khan Presumed country has become #intolerant. Wat do u suggest 2 millions of Indians? Leave India? Or wait till regime changes?” Following

Following this, the relationship between the two were bound to sour. But, Aamir left everyone stunned when he wished Anupam Kher for his achievements at a recent event. When asked about Anupam Kher winning the award he said, “Warm congratulations to Anupam Kher on his Padma Bhushan.”

Aamir is preparing for his next film ‘Dangal’ which is based on a life of a wrestler. It is set to make it to the theatres in December 2016.
