Aamir Khan wants THIS actor to play the lead in Gulshan Kumar’s biopic, ‘Mogul’

Music legend Gulshan Kumar’s biopic ‘Mogul’, recently got perfectionist Aamir Khan on board as the co-producer of the film. The biopic which has been in the buzz for a long time seems to be finally on track as Aamir and Bhushan Kumar, the head honcho of T- Series, are about to lock in the lead actor.

According to a report in DNA, Khan and Kumar are keen on roping the ‘Sanju’ actor, Ranbir Kapoor for the titular role. A source close to the leading daily said, “Bhushan feels Ranbir will suit the character. Since he is a good actor and has a good market value as well, the makers felt he was the perfect choice to play Gulshan Kumar. They have even discussed the whole idea with him, but they haven’t arrived at a decision yet.”

Not only Bhushan, Aamir, who shares a warm relationship with the Kapoor lad, feels that he is a perfect fit. The source added, “Aamir met the Kapoor scion and tried to convince him to do the film.” Well, we hope RK gives a heads up to ‘Mogul’ considering the fact that the producers of the biopic, have personally requested him and also owing to his brilliant acting skills. Meanwhile, speaking of Ranbir’s current projects, the Kapoor boy is busy filming his close buddy and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The film produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions also stars Ranbir’s ladylove Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, television actress Mouni Roy, south superstar Nagarjuna and veteran actress Dimple Kapadia. The multistarrer is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2019.
