Aamir reacts on reports of Katrina being unhappy with her role in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’

There were several reports of Katrina Kaif being unhappy with her character in the forthcoming flick ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. The reports stated that Katrina wasn’t happy about the fact that the lead actor Aamir Khan was paying more attention to his ‘Dangal’ co-star Fatina Sana Shaikh and hence, felt a little apprehensive. In fact, reports were rife that she has a small 10-20 minutes role in the movie and that really left her disturbed.

However, none of these reports are true. Today, at the trailer launch of ‘Secret Superstar’, Aamir Khan was asked about Katrina Kaif being unhappy with her role in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. He replied, “Totally jhooth hai” (It is totally false). Aamir Khan along with Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh had been shooting the first schedule of the movie in Malta and the pictures had gone viral on social media. He flew down to India to promote the movie ‘Secret Superstar’ that stars National Award-winning actress Zaira Wasim (younger version of Geeta Phogat in the movie ‘Dangal’). Coming back to the movie ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, then Aamir Khan had introduced Katrina Kaif in the team with a tweet that read, “Finally we have our last thug….. Katrina ! Welcome aboard Kat :-)” But sadly, reports started spreading about the actress being unhappy. Now that the man himself has lent clarification on the same, we can put these rumours aside. Well, in the movie, Katrina will be playing the role of a warrior princess. She will be wearing a nose ring and add to it, smokey kohl-ed eyes and loose waves. She has already started training in sword fighting for her character. The movie is helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is being made on a huge budget.

Talking about ‘Secret Superstar’, it stars Aamir Khan in the role of a music director while Zaira Wasim plays the role of an aspiring singer named Insia. The movie is directed by Advait Chandan, produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, and will be releasing this Diwali.
