Ali Zafar reminds Aamir Khan about his promise to visit Pakistan- read tweet

Former cricketer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, is soon to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. And as he marches towards his victory, twitteratis are reminding Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, to keep up with the promise he made to Imran of visiting the country back in the year 2012. To those who have come in late, during a media event held six years ago, the ‘Dangal’ actor had publicly told Imran Khan that he would visit Pakistan to celebrate his victory.

The perfectionist had said, “When you win (Imran Khan) the election, I will definitely come (to Pakistan) to celebrate your victory. And I will bring lots of Indians with me.” Praising his vision for Pakistan, Aamir had said, “I really like the idealism and the dream in you. I wish you succeed in fulfilling your dream. I wish Pakistan gets a government that can really solve its problems, a party that is determined to bring prosperity to Pakistan. It will be good not just for Pakistan but for everyone else. My heart tells me that you will succeed because you have been doing this for years. When you started out, you faced numerous challenges. Yet, you are still firm in your convictions and you are still at it.”

Well, now the netizens and ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ actor Ali Zafar feel that time has come when Aamir visits the country. Taking to his Twitter handle, Ali, who has also worked with SRK in ‘Dear Zindagi’, wrote, “@aamir_khan I think it’s time :).”
