‘Atrangi Re’ director Aanand L Rai tests positive for Covid-19; says, “I don’t feel any symptoms”

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has tested positive for Covid-19. He took to his social media handles to share the news saying that he doesn’t feel any symptoms and is fine. He has quarantined himself and advised everyone who had come in contact with him to quarantine.

His tweet read: “I have tested covid positive today.Just wanted to inform everyone that I don’t feel any symptoms & I feel fine. I’m quarantining as instructed by authorities.Anyone wh has come in contact with me recently is advised to quarantine & follow d govt protocols.Thank you for support(sic)”.

Aanand L Rai is helming ‘Atrangi Re’ that went on floors in Varanasi in March this year. But the shoot has to be halted due to the Covid-19 lockdown. As the Unlock Phases started, Dhanush, Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan resumed shooting in Madurai in October. The team went to Delhi for the third schedule that began early December. Recently, Dhanush wrapped up the shoot of the film.
