Aanand L Rai’s next with Shah Rukh Khan to go on floors this December

After delivering a top notch performance with his dual act in ‘FAN’, actor Shah Rukh Khan is ready to give us a surprise with his upcoming projects. As ‘Raees’ is scheduled for a release next year, one of the most exciting project of ‘Baadshah’ Khan is filmmaker Aanand L Rai‘s next which will see him playing a dwarf for the first time. Recently, Rai who is busy with the promotions of his upcoming production ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ revealed that this important project will go on floors this December.

Talking about it, Aanand L Rai has been quoted in one of the interviews that, “It is a very important film not only for me but for all of us… because it is one of its kind. It has a unique content. I have a reason to tell this story. I want to raise the bar for myself everytime I make a film.” [sic]

There were rumours floating around, that Deepika Padukone or Parineeti Chopra may be paired opposite SRK in this romantic film. The director even clarified this that he has to make an official announcement about it.

“We start shooting the film in December. I will announce the actress in a month’s time,” added the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ helmer.
