Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s son tests positive for Coronavirus; singer’s test result is also out

Celebrated singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya‘s son Dhruv Bhattacharya has tested positive for Coronavirus. The singer recently confirmed the news. Dhruv is a Mumbai-based restaurateur and reportedly he was asymptomatic. Abhijeet has tested negative for the deadly virus.

Dhruv got himself tested voluntarily since he was planning to travel abroad. However, his test results came positive and since then he has quarantined himself at home. Speaking to Indian Express, Abhijeet said, “Dhruv was planning to travel abroad, and since there is a rule to get tested for coronavirus before travelling, he went for a voluntary test. He is asymptomatic. He has just a little cold and cough. He has quarantined himself at home and is taking all the precautions. There is nothing to worry about.”

The singer is currently shooting in Kolkata and sharing about his Covid-19 test, he said, “I am shooting in Kolkata, and the rule is that only if you have tested negative for coronavirus, can you get on sets. So I had tested negative, and I continue to shoot.”

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya have also tested positive for Covid-19. They all have been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.
