Bob Biswas: Abhishek Bachchan announces trailer release date with an intriguing video

Abhishek Bachchan has resumed work after his peaceful Maldives vacation. It was on Wednesday that the actor returned back to the country with his wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. They were clicked at the airport. The actor is now gearing up for the trailer release of his upcoming film Bob Biswas. Jr Bachchan took to his Instagram to share an interesting teaser video. Abhishek Bachchan shared the video and announced the trailer release date of Bob Biswas in his latest post.

The teaser video starts with the producers’ credits, followed by the line “A killer of a story“. The makers piqued the interest of fans much more with the phenomenal background score. The clip then cracks up to an intriguing Abhishek Bachchan in the character of Bob Biswas. The actor looks fabulous in the character. In the background, a voiceover plays. A man says, “Shayad aapko yaad nahi, asal mein aap bohot bure aadmi ho (You might not remember, but in reality, you are a very bad man).” The video ends with the announcement of the trailer release that reads. “Trailer Out Tomorrow“.

The trailer of Bob Biswas is scheduled to release on November 19 at 12 PM.

Informing fans and the audience in a unique way, Abhishek Bachchan shared the video, with the caption, “एक मिनट … (One minute) Watch #BobBiswas trailer tomorrow at 12 PM.” The ‘ek minute’ part in the caption of Jr Bachchan’s post refers to Bob’s dialogue from the film Kahaani. For the unversed, Bob would look mournful and say ‘Ek minute’ before shooting his victim. Biswas’ character was portrayed by Saswata Chatterjee in Kahaani, starring Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Bob Biswas is based on the story of the notorious serial killer in the 2012 film Kahaani. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh and is directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. It is scheduled to release on December 3 on ZEE 5.
