Abhishek Bachchan begins shooting for Anurag Basu’s next

After receiving rave reviews for his performance in ‘Manmarziyaan’, Abhishek Bachchan has now begun shooting for Anurag Basu‘s next. Speculations are rife that this movie will be a sequel to 2007 film ‘Life In A… Metro’.

Abhishek took to Instagram to share a photo of Anurag Basu along with the caption, “On the auspicious day of Dushera we embark on a new journey. I hope Anurag is still smiling after I give my shot and the day is done too! ?‍♂️ ? #TakeTwo #ontothenextone.”

Other than Abhishek Bachchan, it is reported that the likes of Rajkummar Rao and Parineeti Chopra will also be a part of the sequel. A while back, Basu had tweeted how he found it extremely difficult to cast for an ensemble film as everybody’s dates needed to be matched.

The first part of ‘Life In A… Metro’ starring the likes of Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Sharman Joshi, Kangana Ranaut and Dharmendra received a lot of critical acclaim. It’ll be tough for Anurag to match up to it, but we really hope that he manages to do so.
