Abhishek Bachchan calls him ‘lucky’ to have wife Aishwarya Rai, Says ‘Women are the superior species’

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are a power couple. This Bollywood jodi is amongst the most loved and adored in the Hindi entertainment industry. They are ‘couple goals’ and there’s no denying in that. Jr Bachchan is currently busy with his work commitments, promoting his upcoming movie titled Dasvi. During the promotions, the Dasvi actor opened up about his beloved wife. Abhishek Bachchan called him and his family ‘lucky’ to have Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in their lives.

The Dasvi actor said that women are the superior species as compared to men. He went on to call Aishwarya ‘exceptional’. Abhishek mentioned how Aishwarya has always been an emotional support to him. He said he is happy to have a partner from the business, who understands it.

Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Jr Bachchan accepted that Aishwarya has had a great impact on him. He further said, “I think it’s high time we just acknowledge that women are the superior species as compared to men and you know they just tend to put things into perspective. My wife is exceptional at that. She’s always been an amazing emotional support for me. I’ve been very lucky, my entire family has been.”

Abhishek added, “The wonderful thing about having a life partner like Aishwarya is that she is from the business, she gets it. She has been doing it slightly longer than I have. So she knows the world. She has been through it all. So it’s nice when you come home and if you’ve had a challenging day, you know that there’s somebody who gets it.”

Talking about how Aishwarya deals with difficult situations, the Dasvi actor shared, “She has been somebody that I have always noticed has managed to traverse some of the most difficult times of her life with utmost dignity and grace. I really admire that about her.” He also said that though actors are emotional people, very hyper-sensitive, he has never seen Aishwarya lash out.

Meanwhile, Dasvi is scheduled to release on April 7. The movie stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur too.
