Abhishek Bachchan cannot stop praising wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, here’s why

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya is one of the most loved star kids in town. Netizens are often seen showering praise for the way she conducts herself in public. As the actor is busy promoting his upcoming film Ghoomer, in an interview, he opened about being born into such a renowned family. He also shared how his actor-wife Aishwarya makes sure that their daughter Aaradhya realises the weight of her surname.

In an appearance on a podcast channel, Abhishek said, “My surname is sacred to me. I am whatever I am today because of my surname, which was given to me by my grandfather, and my father did a fantastic job of furthering that name, and the dignity associated with it.”

The Ghoomer actor further stated how he makes sure that Aaradhya is also aware of the weight of that legacy. He revealed that Aishwarya also conveys the same to their daughter Aaradhya. He added, “I see my wife teach that to my daughter. We don’t want to put pressure on her, but (she) must be respectful of what her father, her dada ji, her pardada ji (her grandfather, great-grandfather) have done and achieved, and she must respect that, and never do anything to deplete that.”

Directed by R Balki, sports drama Goomer is all set for its theatrical release tomorrow, 18th August 2023. The storyline revolves around Abhishek’s portrayal of a cricket coach whose life takes an ultimate turn upon meeting a paraplegic cricket player, played by Saiyami. In the film, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi will also be seen in prominent roles. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is having a cameo in the film. To note, Ghoomer marks Abhishek’s return to the silver screen in a lead role after the 2022 social comedy Dasvi. The actor also made a brief appearance in Ajay Devgn’s actioner Bholaa earlier this year.
