Abhishek Bachchan, Farah Khan and Boman Irani have a ‘Happy New Year’ reunion at IIFA and you can’t miss it

Abhishek Bachchan, Farah Khan, and Boman Irani are in Abu Dhabi for the prestigious award show IIFA. On Friday, Farah Khan took to her Instagram and gave fans a glimpse of a mini-reunion of Happy New Year. The filmmaker dropped photos with Abhishek and Boman Irani. Abhishek and Boman starred in Farah Khan’s directorial Happy New Year which released in 2014.

In the first photo, the trio posed together. The smile on their faces says it all! The next photo features Abhishek and Farah in a goofy pose.

Farah shared the photos on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “The gang is back!!! Just love these 2… n if u think my ensemble is weird its bcoz I was literally taken mid sleep frm my room for this Happy new Year reunion! @boman_irani @bachchan this was the best… tho 1 of u talks toooo much… see pic 2 @iifa #abudhabi.”

Farah will be co-hosting IIFA Rocks with RajKummar Rao.

At the press conference on Thursday, Farah was asked about her IIFA experience. For the uninitiated, she is returning back to the awards show for the second time. The filmmaker was at her candid best as she said, “It’s wonderful that I am back here with Raj (RajKummar Rao). We are very good friends. He is, like Abhishek (Bachchan) says, ‘My new baby’.” After saying that, Farah poked fun at Abhishek, who was in the audience, and asked ‘jealous much?’ Well, this proves Farah and Abhishek’s great camaraderie.

We can’t wait to see all the fun that happens at IIFA Rocks hosted by Farah and RajKummar today. Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhbir Singh, and Nucleya will be performing at the event.

IIFA Rocks will be followed by the main awards on May 27.
