Abhishek Bachchan holds the record of ‘Most Public Appearances Made By A Film Star In 12 Hours.’ He achieved this while promoting his film ‘Delhi-6’ in the year 2009. He defeated Will Smith in the same category who had done three press events in 2 hours in the year 2004 for his film ‘I, Robot’.

Junior Bachchan walked the red carpet, signed autographs, introduced the film and gave interviews in 7 cities including Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Mumbai within a period of 12 hours to leave his mark at the Guinness Book Of World Records.

The record-breaking feat started on 22nd February, at 12.05 pm in Ghaziabad in the presence of the world media; Abhishek started his tour where he was identified by witnesses(corporate executives, bureaucrats, police officials, and mall owners) as per Guinness World Record norms. Ernst & Young’s auditors served as witnesses and Wizcraft International organized the Guinness World Record-breaking endeavour.

The second record he made was for ‘Paa’, the movie where Abhishek and Amitabh became the only father-son duo to play reversed roles in a film. Abhishek played Big B’s father in the film. The movie was all about Big B’s character Auro a 12-year-old child who is suffering from progeria.

‘Paa’ won Abhishek a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi as a producer.

Wishing the dashing star a very happy birthday and may he win many more such accolades in the years to come.
