Abhishek Bachchan injured in a ‘freak accident’ in Chennai; says, “Needed surgery”

Reports and rumours of Abhishek Bachchan being hospitalized due to various reasons had been making the rounds of the internet. But, now the actor has finally put an end to all discussions and he opened up that got into a freak accident in Chennai. Abhishek said that he was seriously injured and needed injury as he busted his arm in the accident.

The Big Bull actor took to his Instagram account and shared a picture in which he was seen all cast up with his hand supported with an elbow pouch. Giving a thumbs up to the camera with his busted arm.

Sharing his picture on Instagram, Abhishek wrote in the caption, “Had a freak accident in Chennai on the set of my new film last Wednesday. Fractured my right hand. Needed surgery to fix it! So a quick trip back home to Mumbai. Surgery done, all patched-up and casted. And now back in Chennai to resume work. As they say… The show must go on! And as my father said…. Mard ko dard nahin hota! Ok, ok, ok it hurt a little. ? Thank you all for your wishes and get-well-soon messages. ??(sic)”

Karan Johar sent his love as he shared heart emojis, “❤️❤️❤️❤️,” so did Abhishek’s niece Navya Nanda, Navya’s mother Shweta Bachchan wrote, “Best patient ever ?♥️,” and Sonam Kapoor’s husband Anand Ahuja wrote, “Get well soon my bro. ??”
