When it comes to experimenting with different roles no one can replace Bollywood’s legend, Amitabh Bachchan. The actor who has played different roles stepped into the shoes of a villain with his first negative role in the year 2002 with the heist thriller ‘Aankhen.’ After gaining much appreciation for this film, he is all ready to return with his baddie avatar in the sequel of this film.
‘Aankhen 2’ is seeing many changes unlike its earlier part since it started developing. As the lead cast of the first film, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal were not returning in the sequel, rumors started coming in of taking Abhishek Bachchan in the film. The father-son duo of Bachchan’s who have given a good amount of films in the past has not been seen on-screen together after their last film ‘Paa.’ So would Abhishek be seen opposite his Dad?
The answer is ‘No.’ Amitabh Bachchan recently confirmed that Abhishek is not going to be a part of this much-hyped sequel.
‘Aankhen 2’ will be directed by Anees Bazmee and would start shooting in the month of March. According to the director the film will begin from where the first part ended.
The first part ‘Aankhen’ was an adaptation of a Gujarati play titled ‘Andhalo Pato.’ The film was directed by Vipul Shah with a star cast of Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Sushmita Sen and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
