Abhishek Bachchan wishes mother Jaya Bachchan on her birthday with a throwback pic

Actress turned politician Jaya Bachchan rang in her birthday today. She is being showered with love and warm wishes from her fans and close ones. Jaya’s son and actor Abhishek Bachchan also took to his social media account to wish his mom on this special day. Abhishek shared a beautiful throwback picture of Mrs Bachchan and she looked beautiful as ever in the black and white shot. The picture was surely a nostalgic trip for Jaya’s fans and other celebs.

Jaya was seen in a saree as she was all smiles for the camera. She looked beautiful as ever in a winged eyeliner and her hair tied in a braid. Sharing the picture, Abhishek wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday माँ। Love you.(sic)”

Earlier, Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Abhishek revealed that his mother Jaya is very superstitious when it comes to his movies, he said, “You know I don’t know if families are the right judge. Mom hasn’t seen it. She doesn’t watch my films before release. She is superstitious. My family has seen the film. Ajay (Devgn) showed them the film. But my mom didn’t see it because she is superstitious and it’s releasing a day before her birthday so she said, ‘As a birthday present I’ll see the film’. So she is going to see it then and I am sure she will tell me exactly what she feels. Thankfully the rest of the family really really liked the film. My dad had very wonderful things to say. So in a sense, I am already happy because that one voice that really matters to me has already endorsed the film so I am happy about that.”
