Abhishek Bachchan doesn’t want to work with Aishwarya Rai, looking for a fresh face

Abhishek Bachchan will soon be back with his next production, ‘Lefty’, which will also see the actor in the lead role.

Reports also suggested that Abhishek’s wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was keen on playing the female lead in the film, since it is there home production. But Abhishek has apparently rejected the idea.

Even though Aish and Abhi have spread their magic onscreen in films like ‘Guru’, ‘Raavan’, ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’, Abhishek was this time willing to cast a fresh face for the film. A source says, “Since it’s a home production, Ash was keen on doing the film. But Abhi has instructed his team to look for a fresh, young face to play the leading lady. He thinks Ash may be too mature for the role.”

‘Lefty’ is directed by Prabhudheva and is being co-produced by Abhishek and his friend Bunty Walia.
