Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra to team for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film on Sahir Ludhianvi has been in the pipeline for a long time. There have been reports of Irrfan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and other actors being considered for Sahir’s role, and when it comes to playing Amrita Pritam, Sahir’s love interest, we have heard that Priyanka Chopra has been finalised for it. But, we are still awaiting an official confirmation.

And now, there are reports that Abhishek Bachchan has been roped in to play Sahir Ludhianvi’s role. Abhishek’s last film was ‘Housefull 3’, and the actor has reportedly been on signing spree, with nearly four films in his kitty.

Abhishek and Priyanka have earlier done films like ‘Bluffmaster’, ‘Drona’ and ‘Dostana’. If these reports turn out to be true, then it will be interesting to watch Abhishek and Priyanka in the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic. (Also Read: Priyanka Chopra: There is nothing like coming home)

Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently busy with ‘Padmavati’ which stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. Well, we wonder if SLB will be producing Sahir Ludhianvi’s biopic or will also be directing it. Let’s wait and watch.
