Abhishek Bachchan reacts as Dasvi inspires Agra Jail inmates to clear UP Board exams

Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dasvi was released on multiple OTT platforms on April 7 2022. The movie has the actor playing the role of an uneducated politician who lands up in jail. During his jail journey, he undergoes a massive change of heart. Under the guidance of his jail warden Yami Gautam, the actor attempts to clear his board exams.

Abhishek Bachchan won appreciation galore for his inspirational film Dasvi. Many inmates of Agra Jail where the movie was shot were also impressed by the movie. They attempted to clear the UP board exam and passed them with glowing colours.

A fan of megastar Amitabh Bachchan who goes by the name EF Amarheet Kumar on Twitter shared that Abhishek Bachchan’s Dasvi inspired jail inmates to sit for the UP board exams and pass. He wrote, “Abhishek Bachchan ji ki film Dasvi real-life me bhi hui hit. Agra Central Jail ke now bandiyo ne Dasvi movie ki patkatha se prerit hokar pass kiya UP Board se inter ka imtihaan.”

Reacting to the news Abhishek said, “It feels wonderful when you see the positive effect a film you’ve been a part of make in real life. Credit has to go to the students and to my director, Tushar. His belief in the film and the story he wanted to tell. This news is bigger than any award or accolade we as a team could have received”
