Abhishek Bachchan finally tests negative for Covid-19; says, “I’m so happy to be able to go home”

Abhishek Bachchan has finally tested negative for Covid-19. The ‘Breathe 2’ actor has shared the news on his social media handles. He wrote on Twitter, “A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. ?? thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. ?? THANK YOU!”

Sharing the same news on his Instagram handle, Abhishek wrote that he will be discharged as well and happy that he will be able to go home now.

Amitabh and Abhishek were in hospital but Big B was discharged after he tested negative but as Abhishek tested positive, he had to stay in the hospital.

I, Unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. ??

It was in July the Bachchans tested Covid-19 positive except Jaya Bachchan. Aishwarya Rai and her daughter Aaradhya also returned home after testing negative for Coronavirus.

We are happy that Junior Bachchan too recovered from the virus and he will be home soon.
